Our Walk Has Donated Over Half A Million Dollars!
The Walk directly supports one of the most respected cancer centers in New England, Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Jimmy Fund solely supports Boston's Dana Farber Cancer Institute, raising funds for adult and pediatric cancer care and research to improve the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world.
Thanks to the support of our many dedicated walkers, generous sponsors, hardworking volunteers, loyal donors and energetic bidders, over half a million dollars has been raised since the inception in 2003!
On Sunday, October 16th, The Walk Against Breast Cancer attracted over 275 walkers and more than $38,000 was raised to benefit research and patient care at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. It was a beautiful fall day with amazing energy!
Each year we continue to dedicate the Walk with love to Maryellen Miller, whose determination, courage and grace inspire us and keep us walking toward a cure. The Walk route was chosen to include passing by Maryellen Miller's Memorial Bench along the Holliston Rail Trail.
When you join in The Walk, you not only join together in steps but also in hope, strength and community. We hope to see you on October 15th, 2017!
